Whoa NELLIE look at those ears!

BCRO welcomes NELLIE a 1yr old female Border Collie into their foster program.

Nellie is being evaluted and worked with in foster care, we do have a potential adoptive home for her from our current applications. This young girl was relinquished to us from a older couple that adored her but were unable to give her what she needed.

Rocco!!!

Foster mom Jen came down with her crew for a Rally O trial this weekend and brought along Rocco for a visit! Still living life to the fullest free spirited Rocco is doing awesome in his foster home. He is still looking for a home that will manage his Obsessive Compulsive tendencies and keep him lean and fit for his back end with regular low impact exercise.

He is not currently available for adoption as he is being worked with and evaluated. Watch for his progress!

I have received a update on Sparky the 13 yr old needing a home .... during a vet exam at the Welland Humane Society where she was taken they found a Cancerous Mass on her side. Due to her age and that the vet felt there were no treatment options for her the HS made the tough decison to euthanize her.
